Launching Morrow: Our rebrand, a grant and official fundraise launch!

What a whirlwind the last few weeks have been!

We have done a rebrand, won a grant, started the next phase of our product development, launched our official fundraise and pitched at the Unrest Demo Day. Demo Day also concluded 16 weeks of being part of the Unrest impact accelerator 4th cohort.  

Sometimes, founding a business feels like being a hamster in a wheel - especially while we are working towards the official launch of our product later this year. But we have realised, it is important that we also take time and celebrate the milestones along the way. 

And we are indeed really proud of the milestones we have achieved recently. 

Nihilo has rebranded to Morrow. As we craft the future of coffee, we wanted a name that communicates our vision and better and aligns with the mission we are on: Morrow is the coffee of tomorrow, crafted not from coffee beans but from up-cycled ingredients and locally grown crops and plants. 

Now we are happy to show of our new brand. It's pretty awesome, don't you think?

A big thank you to Olga Pope who supported us on creating and defining our brand voice and name. And we are so grateful to Jon and the Threesixty Design team, for bringing our name and brand to life.

And just last week we pitched Morrow at the Unrest Demo Day in front of 300 impact investors and change-makers. This marks a big milestone in our journey:  we revealed our mission officially for the first time, as well as launched our first fundraise

A big thank you to the Unrest team and fellow founders in the Unrest community for their support, encouragement and advice - we'e proud to call ourselves Unrest alumni! 

We also recently won a grant by the Ellen McArthur Foundation as part of their Big Food Redesign Challenge. We wrote about the challenge in an earlier blog which you can read here. This grant enables us to supercharge our circular and regenerative product development in line with our mission! 

Now, we are ready for the next leg of our journey!
