Who is behind Morrow?

Anna-Sophie - CEO

Anna-Sophie has a strong background in commercial sales and business development, having supported some of the largest European institutional investors, including private equity and venture capital firms. At AlphaSights, she successfully launched a new business unit, generating over £1 million in its first year. She worked closely on developing new product offerings, and secured multi-billion-pound client accounts.

Most recently, as a Founder in Residence at the Zinc VC sustainability incubator, Anna-Sophie engaged with sustainability leaders to explore environmental challenges in the food ecosystem, which led her to discover some of the big challenges the coffee industry is facing.

Caroline - CPO

Caroline’s background is rooted in nutritional science. She has led a number of clinical trials following her Masters in Nutrition at King's College London, giving her in-depth knowledge of the processes needed to conduct the R&D for Morrow.

Passionate about combining food and health, she started her entrepreneurial journey in 2013, bootstrapping and scaling a functional drinks start-up and has since then built a strong network and commercial experience within the FMCG sector.

Professor Ian Fisk - Technical Advisor

Ian is a passionate flavour scientist, leading the International Flavour Research Center at the University of Nottingham and the University of Adelaide. His interest in coffee flavour science originates from his time at Kraft Foods/Mondelez (now JDE) where he led the flavour chemistry platform for Maxwell House, Jacobs, Kenco, Carte Noire and Kroenung instant coffee and Kraft Foods' 3in1 and 2in1 coffee products.

During his time at the University of Nottingham he has received funding for multiple coffee projects focusing on coffee flavour maximisation, novel coffee flavour processing, upgrading coffee flavour quality, minimising coffee off note formation and maximising shelf life of coffee flavour.
