Redefining Coffee

Imagine enjoying your favourite coffee drink, but instead of crafting it from coffee beans, it's made from sustainable, locally grown crops and plants.

What is Morrow?

'Morrow', the coffee of tomorrow replicates the same flavour, aroma, and colour using up-cycled by-products and locally grown nitrogen-fixing crops and plants.

Not only does this result in a delicious cup of coffee, but it also brings additional health benefits and allows for regenerative farming practices and a local supply chain.

  • Traditional coffee is fermented and roasted to produce the specific flavour and aroma we know and love.

  • Morrow replicates this process using locally grown and up-cycled ingredients, eliminating the need for coffee beans, hence reducing the environmental and ethical impact of the coffee industry.

  • You can use and enjoy Morrow just as you would regular coffee - as a filter blend, espresso or pod. Or find it in your favourite ice cream, confectionary and baked goods.

How we do it

We ferment, roast, malt and grind these sustainable ingredients, and then brew them just like traditional coffee.

  • 1. Identify Flavour Compounds

We identify the compounds in coffee that give it its unique flavour, aroma and colour.

  • 2. Select Ingredients

We select ingredients that offer the same flavour compounds as coffee.

  • 3. Ferment, Roast, Malt

We ferment, roast and malt our ingredients, which helps us achieve the right flavour profile.

  • 4. Morrow

And after that, you can enjoy the coffee of tomorrow!
